VSCO Photo App and Review

It's been a while I know, but here I am to review a new favorite app of mine. Its called VSCO (Visual Supply Co) It's a photo editing app that allows you to add various filters. Its pretty simple, and best of all its free. I've actually had the app for a long time but after Bron from teatimewiththemadartist.com used it in various pictures on her instagram, I opened it up and started loving it all over again

Here are some screen shots from iTunes with how the app looks when you open it

This app is great for a lot of things (besides being free and having awesome filters) It lets you brighten your pictures, focus on an object, if there are more than one, saturate, and crop. Basically photoshop for dummies (for lack of a better word) As long as I've had this app I'm still learning a lot about it.

You can upload right to instagram within the app, and it will put the #vscocam on your pics so they're searchable. I love looking at the tag people have taken some amazing pictures just with this app. If you haven't checked the hashtag and browse. it may even make you download the app.

Here are some pictures I've taken using various filters

  1. Great Review!! This is my go to app. It's fantastical. I rarely use Instagram filters nowadays. I use VSCO and Instasize for pretty much all my pictures!!

  2. I love the app so much I moved it to the dock with my most used apps! The filters on vsco are so much better than instagram, and my pics look that much better because of it.
