Mixed Heritage Week

I recently found a great blog named growingupblaxican.com  Ruby and her family are of mixed races and she celebrates that on her blog. I really love that she wants her kids (who are beautiful) to know who they are and where they come from. I was going through her blog posts and was impressed by it all.  This year she started the first Mixed Heritage week from Feb 25th - Mar 1st. She wants everyone of mixed races to celebrate, and I'm on board. We are a family of mixed heritages, and without every drop, we wouldn't be here. So why not embrace it? You can participate by searching the hashtag #GUBMixedHeritage on all platforms, such as twitter, instagram, and even pinterest. Im looking forward to seeing what everyone posts and take pictures of.
